DigitalSpace produced this new version of the "Buddy Street Crossing Safety Game" for Dr. Dorothy Strickland and Do2Learn of Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. Dr. Strickland conceived and developed this game based on a decade of research in autism and special needs. Under her direction, DigitalSpace implemented this new version in the Adobe Atmosphere™ 3D platform.
This safety game provides an environment for children with autism to learn how to navigate sidewalks and street crossings through the use of an innovative game tuned to their specific needs. This work was funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.

We would like to thank Dr. Strickland for introducing us to the world of special needs learning games and invite you to try the game yourself by crossing the street with Buddy the dog.
