A NoFurthur Art Bus Studio Project
Design ideas & materials for a
Rennaissance CyberDoublet

Meeting with Professor Daria Dorosh at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City's Garment District was very inspiring. Daria showed us how to use cutouts (negative and positive) to do rapid design prototyping. She was very encouraging on this project as we had discussed the lack of beautiful, functional wearables garments since we met at SIGGRAPH San Antonio in the Summer of 2002 and worked on the Ratava's Line project together in the Spring of 2003. Daria is joining the team as I move forward in the new year 2005.

Daria shows us how a simple cutout
can be used as a template over background imagery

Thus this template suggests designs without
having to do the drawings
